Album zawiera reprodukcje dziewięćdziesięciu dwóch rycin pokazujących balet. Powstały one na początku XX wieku, gdy balet odradzał się jako sztuka na zachodzie Europy. Autorami grafik są Ernst Oppler, Arthur Grunenberg i Ludwig Kainer. Artyści przedstawili na nich najsłynniejszych w owym czasie tancerzy i tancerki, między innymi Annę Pawłową, Tamarę Karsawinę, Wacława Niżyńskiego i Adolfa Bolma.
Ilustracjom towarzyszą obszerne opisy w języku polskim i angielskim.
The book contains ninety two reproductions of drawings depicting ballet. They were created on the beginning of the XX century, when ballet was reviving in the West Europe as an art. The painters are Ernst Oppler, Arthur Grunenberg and Ludwig Kainer. The artists showed on the drawings the most famous dancers of the time, among others: Anna Pavlova, Tamara Karsavina, Vaslav Nijinski and Adolf Bolm.
The reproductions are enriched with extensive descriptions in Polish and English.
